Program Highlights

Outreach to local high schools

The Advisor has been able to organize several visits to local high schools in the Abidjan area, accompanied by the Public Affairs Officer or Cultural Affairs Officer. These visits have been received with much enthusiasm from the students as well as school staff and officials. Often during these visits, the Advisor opens with a short quiz on American culture and language.

The Advisor hopes to aggressively target schools in the interior of the country while maintaining a high profile and collaboration with English clubs in local schools in Abidjan.

Regular public sessions at Advising Center

The Center organizes biweekly information sessions for the general public as well as many other activities such as video conferences and workshops with the goal of familiarizing and preparing prospective students for study in United States.
