Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant program

The Fulbright FLTA Program is designed to develop Americans' knowledge of foreign cultures and languages. At the same time, the program offers foreign grantees the opportunity to develop their professional skills and gain first-hand knowledge of the U.S., its culture and its people. In France, about 30 French teaching assistants are placed every year in small institutions through out the United States (deliberatly outside of large urban areas).
