Center Description: El Centro de Asesoría EducationUSA, programa del Departamento de Estado de Estados Unidos, se encuentra dentro de la Universidad Mayor, universidad privada fundada el año 1988, acreditada en Chile por el Consejo Nacional de Acreditación y la única en el país con acreditación internacional de Middle States Commission on Higher Education de los EEUU (MSCHE).

Nuestra misión es promover la educación superior en los Estados Unidos y entregar información precisa, completa e imparcial sobre los programas académicos ofrecidos por todas las instituciones de educación superior acreditadas en los Estados Unidos, además de asesorar a los interesados en todo el proceso de postulación. Nuestros servicios incluyen entre otros: asesoría en la elección de programas de estudios de inglés intensivo, pregrado y postgrado en Estados Unidos, además de traducciones académicas (certificados de notas, de grado y/o título, etc.), charlas antes de la partida a EEUU, charlas grupales sobre como postular a universidades en ese país e información sobre becas (Fulbright, Becas Chile, entre otras). Contactamos a universidades estadounidenses con instituciones de educación y de gobierno en Chile que estén interesadas en reunirse y posiblemente en desarrollar convenios.

The EducationUSA Advising Center, a program affiliated with the US Department of State, is located within the Universidad Mayor, a private university founded in 1988, accredited in Chile by the National Commission of Accreditation and internationally by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education in the US (MSCHE). It offers a great variety of undergraduate and graduate programs in its Colleges and Institutes: College of Education, College of Engineering, School of Medicine, School of Dentistry, School of Business, College of Agriculture, College of Architecture, Design and Construction, College of Art, School of Law, Institute of Art and Visual Arts, Institute of Biotechnology, Institute of Communications and New Technologies and a Conservatory of Music.
Our mission is to promote and to deliver precise, unbiased and complete information about the academic programs offered by all accredited higher education institutions in the United States and also to advise applicants during the entire application process. Our services include, but are not limited to: advising prospective students in the selection of the most adequate program at the intensive English, undergraduate or graduate level in the United States, academic translations (transcripts, degree certificates, etc), pre-departure orientations, group talks where we explain how to apply to US universities and offer information about scholarships (Fulbright, Becas Chile, among others). We facilitate connections between American universities, Chilean universities, and government institutions that might be interested in meeting and developing agreements.
