Georgia Southern University International Diversity Scholarships
Georgia Southern University is a public, Carnegie Doctoral/Research university devoted to academic distinction in teaching, scholarship, and service. The University’s hallmark is a culture of engagement that bridges theory with practice, extends the learning environment beyond the classroom, and promotes student growth and life success. Georgia Southern’s nationally accredited academic programs in the liberal arts, sciences, and professional studies prepare a diverse and select undergraduate and graduate student population for leadership and service as world citizens.
Georgia Southern University recognizes the importance of international education and the benefits of a multicultural student population. To help ensure diversity, Georgia Southern University awards a limited number of out-of-country tuition waivers to undergraduate and graduate international students who demonstrate good academic standing, financial need, and commitment to the university and community. Students who receive an International Student Diversity Scholarship pay in-state tuition, an award equal to approximately $10,000 per academic year.
