Program Highlights

Facebook campaign

We posted ads on Facebook to inform students of our upcoming events and since we started doing so, the number of students who participate in our events has increased.

Hariri fair

After participating in the Hariri fair a number of students came back for further consultations and assistance.

Regional Fair

We conducted two fairs for Beirut and Mount Lebanon school directors and/or guidance counselors. We mailed invitations to 385 schools of those two regions through Libanpost. The Mount Lebanon and Beirut regional fairs took place on November 18th and 20th respectively at Le Meridien Commodore Hotel in Hamra. These fairs were held during International Education Week. We divided the fair into two sessions. The morning session was for school directors and/or counselors and the afternoon session was for school students from those schools. CAO Richard Michaels participated in the morning sessions. 31 school representatives and 370 students attended the fair.

Radio One Campagin

We launched EducationUSA marketing campaign on Radio One this month where the morning show host, Gaven Ford, talked about AMIDEAST and US universities and asked callers questions that we provided. Listeners called in and those who got the right answer won a test prep book and/ or CD. Promo ads played throughout each day.

Road show

Two US university fairs have used the radio road show to announce their fairs two weeks in advance on the radio and have the radio broadcast live for two hours from the fair itself.
