Higher Education Fairs
Program HighlightsCareer fair: Topic: Connecting higher education to the job market The event was an initiative by Esperanza Higher Education Institution aiming at giving the youth of Benin an insight into how they can more effectively undertake higher education and mmeet job market requirements. The EducationUSA Advising Center in Cotonou requested a booth to take part in the fair with about 100 other organizations. The EducationUSA Advisor took advantage of this opportunity to better adverstise different opportunities offered by the USG and US Higher Education institutions to meet the expectations of the Beninese youth aspiring for higher education in the US. Higher education in the US has also been introduced to the public as an effective way of fiiting the increasingly competitive global job mraket Outreach educational advising session in Cours Secondaire Notre Dame des Apotres On February 9, 2011 at Cours Secondaire Notre Dame des Apotres, an all-girls' high school located in Cotonou, the EducationUSA Advisor organized an outreach session before an audience of 200 high school students.
