Program Highlights

US Embassy Bern educational outreach turns around negative trend

US Embassy Bern succeeded in turning around over five years of decline in Swiss students studying in the United States. Through educational outreach at Swiss universities and providing unbiased information, Swiss study in the US increased 1.5% in 2009.

Introducing the Swiss Fulbright Alumni Association

With support from the Public Affairs Section, US Embassy Bern, Swiss Fulbright returnees have started a Swiss Fulbright alumni association. The association meets regularly and maintains its own new website (www.fulbright.ch/) sponsored by PAS Bern. The alumni association not only helps former Fulbright grantees to stay in touch, it also attracts many promising and potential new Fulbright scholars.
