Program Highlights

DVC with ARS Paris on "Studying in the US" on the occasion of the International Education Week - Nov 23, 2009

The November 23 DVC Program with ARS Paris on "Studying in the U.S." sparked a lively question and answer session on the admission process to US universities and colleges and student life on U.S. campus. About twenty students from the University of Nouakchott joined the US Embassy Nouakchott Public Affairs Section and actively participated in the program. The American student panelists invited by ARS, which was composed of 4 students from Duke University in North Carolina and Cornell University in Ithaca New York, also got an opportunity to interact with prospective Mauritanian students and gave them useful insight into student life in the US.
