Center Description: English is the medium of instruction in Swaziland schools.
As a small landlocked country, with limited internal tertiary opportunities, the educational system nevertheless offers students wishing to study at universities outside the borders of Swaziland a wide variety of examination systems. These include International General Certificate of Secondary Educatiion (IGCSE); Higher International General Certificate of Secondary Education (HIGCSE); International Baccalaureate (IB); Advanvanced Subsidiary (AS); Advanced Level (A'Level) (these exams are administered by Cambridge) and the south African Matric.
The Government of Swaziland's policy of aligning the education system, with international standards, enables students to qualify for university entrance in most countries throughout the world.
