Center Description: 2003 წლის სექტემბერში, თბილისის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის II კორპუსში, აშშ-ის მთავრობისა და სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის მხარდაჭერით გაიხსნა საინფორმაციო-საგანმანათლებლო ცენტრი კვალი, რომლის მიზანია ინფორმაცია მიაწოდოს ამერიკის შეერთებულ შტატებში სწავლის გაგრძელების მსურველ სტუდენტებსა და სხვა დაინტერესებულ პირებს. ცენტრში ფუნქციონირებს თანამედროვე ლიტერატურით აღჭურვილი სამკითხველო დარბაზი და ინტერნეტში ჩართული კომპიუტერული ქსელი.

Program Highlights

“How to Continue Education in the USA”

EAC Kvali Educational Advisers visited Akhaltsikhe American Corner. They conducted a seminar on “How to Continue Education in the USA”. The presentation included in-depth overview of the US Education System of University levels; information on how to choose an appropriate university; how to start the application process; what is the application timeline. Students were given explanation of the application process, step-by-step instructions for successfully preparing for and applying to the USA Universities. Additionally, the audience was introduced to the specifics of University Admission Exams mainly concentrating on TOEFL iBT. The seminar was concluded with a question and answer session.


"International student's life in the USA"

Kvali alumnus Levan Zandarashvili gave a presentation for students who are getting ready to depart for USA and those who are preparing their applications for upcoming deadlines. Mr. Levan completed a one-year internship at University of Texas, Medical Branch. He talked about his personal experience while living and completing the internship. He gave advice on how to prepare and what to prepare, what students should take into consideration before departing; what are the elements which international students might find challenging, interesting and useful. He also gave an overview/tour of the UTMB Campus, services, students’ life and other.


7th Annual U.S. Education Fair

The 7th Annual U.S. Education Fair was held on October 9, 2009, at Expo Georgia. The Fair was jointly organized by the U.S Embassy and Education USA advising centers - Kvali Education Advising Center and the Center for International Education. The information booths presenting 20 U.S. universities were open from 10 AM to 6 PM. The Fair was an excellent opportunity to network with students and other visitors, promote the benefits of studying in the US Universities as well as distribute information and highlight application and admissions information. The fair invited visitors to attend seminars on different topics.
