Higher Education Fairs

1 Organizer: Green Hills Academy

For More Information: On June19, 2010, the Green Hills Academy organized a multicultural fair to honor students and staff representing 40 different countries. PAS Kigali was invited along with the consular section. It was a good opportunity for us to display our resources on education in America. We explained the American system of education, how to get a visa and so on.

For More Information: On October 27, 2010, the AISEC or "Association Internationale des Etudiants en Sciences Economiques" in French organized a Festival of Culture. More than a hundred students representing 15 countries were invited. This festival was a great opportunity for us to display our resources on American Universities and Colleges. We explained the American System of Education, Admission process and so forth...
 

Program Highlights

Presentation on Studying in America

Between June and November 2010, the Educational Advising Center visited the National University of Rwanda located in the Southern Province and met with 45 students. We also visited twice one secondary school located in the Northern Province and met with 40 students. The Educational Advising Center visited two secondary schools located in Kigali and meet with 52 students.


International Education Week (November 15-November 19, 20100

The week of November 15 -19 was dedicated to the International Education week and PAS Kigali joined the rest of the world in celebrating it. The Educational Advising Center organized a presentation on Studying in America and 65 undergraduate students attended.
On November 16, we organized another presentation for graduate students. 57 students attended.


International Education Week (November 15-November 19, 20100

On November 16, the Educational Advising Center was able to invite 26 students to follow a Webchat in French that was organized by ARS Paris on Studying in America.
On November 17, the Educational Center invited 18 students for the same Webchat in English.

On November 18, 2010, with the help of the PAS Kigali Audio-Visual Technician, we recorded a Podcast on Studying in America. The Podcast was aired on one private Radio called Contact FM.
