Program Highlights

How to Apply to U.S. Graduate Schools” — Oslo

For several years, the Fulbright office has arranged a “How to apply to U.S. graduate schools” seminar in October/November. The primary audience includes applicants for Fulbright grants, Norway-America Association grants, and others. These seminars have been a great success. We try to involve U.S. university representatives visiting Oslo during this time of the year, in order to get the schools’ perspective on graduate admissions.

Sports Scholarships Seminar at the U.S. Embassy

Sports scholarships have become increasingly popular among Norwegian students, and the Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy, together with the Fulbright EducationUSA adviser, have arranged seminars for athletes, high school advisers, and parents on the subject. The latest seminar was in February, in connection with a student fair in Oslo. Among the presenters were the Fulbright EducationUSA adviser, a high-school tennis coach from the U.S., and representatives from Creighton University.
