Description: Promote your institution at the EducationUSA Pavilion and EAIE 2012.

The 2012 European Association for International Education (EAIE) Conference will take place in Dublin, Ireland from September 11-14th, 2012. The goal of the U.S. Pavilion is to increase the U.S. presence at the largest international higher education conference in Europe, to actively promote higher education in the United States in a more coordinated way, and to communicate to a European audience that U.S. academic doors remain open. Participation in the Pavilion is open to accredited U.S. colleges and universities.

EducationUSA reserved 30 square meters to raise the profile of participating schools and all accredited U.S. institutions.

Recent Trends

1 Europe On the Rise: Non-degree and OPT Students
The Open Doors 2010 report indicates that European students are increasingly choosing non-degree programs (up 16%) and post-degree Optional Practical Training (up 17%) in the U.S. Although European student mobility is beginning to decline following two years of significant growth, there were several notable gains from Ireland, Austria, Norway, Georgia, and Azerbaijan. Contact us to learn more about our coordinated outreach efforts and how to get involved (wteter@educationusa.info).

2 Europe-U.S. student mobility climbed an impressive 4.4% in 2009. Student internships and a general enthusiasm for the United States are stimulating new demand for study in the U.S. at undergraduate and graduate level. In Germany, trends show a 40% increase in non-degree students pursuing short-term programs, giving hope that European Higher Education Reform is turning a corner and opening new opportunities for more flexible exchanges and transatlantic degrees.
