Center Description: Education USA Cape Town provides group sessions on US study at the US Consulate, and also on request at schools and career fairs, with follow up individual consultations assisting prospective students through the application process for both undergraduate and graduate level study. The advisor also provides advice to US institutions on the local education system and institutions, including credentials, and can assist visiting admissions officers with school contacts and presentations.

Program HighlightsHighly Selective Colleges and Universities Outreach Event at the US Consulate, Cape Town EducationUSA hosted an outreach event for two visiting admissions representatives from highly selective colleges where 75 students from high achieving groups at local high schools attended, at the US Consulate. Fulbright Outreach Event at USInfo@Central, Cape Town The EducationUSA advisor and the country Fulbright coordinator presented a Fulbright Application Workshop for 40 prospective US graduate students, at the usinfo@central seminar room at the Cape Town Central Library. The numerous strong tertiary institutions in South Africa, which attract academic candidates from all over the continent of Africa, are a rich source of prospective talent for US universities at the graduate level.
