Program Highlights

Visits to 9 secondary schools in Bujumbura and Gitega

Last September eight private secondary schools were visited in Bujumbura and one private secondary school in Gitega province in the center of the country. The brochure Think EducationUSA was distributed, presentations were made and question/answer periods were held. The national government-run secondary school curriculum development office was visited. As there are hundreds of public schools in the country it was decided to donate some books to the national office for distribution to upcountry schools.
