Higher Education Fairs
Program HighlightsExpo Estude no Exterior and Salão do Estudante These are two big recruitment events that were held in Recife in March 2012. The EducationUSA office partnered with the US Consulate in Recife to introduce US Higher Education to high school students and professions. The total audience for the EducationUSA booth was of approximately 1.400 people. There were also presentations about Studt in the US, telling students that it's easier than they think. Discussion Panel about Life in the US We invited students from Recife to take part in a panel that would discuss life in the US. We invited both american and brazilian students that studied in the US to lead the panel and talk about their experience and how it differs from the higher education experience in Brazil. The students who participated as audience had a great time and mentioned that it was a different way to understand the american education system and how comprehensive and unique it is.
